In order to carry out this study in order to know and comply with the rules on good waste management in Sibiu, this research included several stages: presentation of the activity of the city’s sanitation company, SC SOMA SRL, the only provider that deals with sanitation in the city Sibiu as well as in the neighboring communes; documentation within the sanitation company S.C. SOMA SRL regarding the offer of services, the way of collecting and capitalizing on the high waste from the city of Sibiu; testing the degree of satisfaction of the population of Sibiu County regarding the waste management system, by interviewing 199 inhabitants of Sibiu.
